Our client needed to circumvent tensions around early retirement and retrenchment which were to be offered to Executive Management within a specific division in order to make way for strategic change.
Approach
We provided their Executive Management with financial options as well as in depth analysis of financial planning decisions that needed to be made by each effected individual and how that would translate thereafter in a very personal way. This was supported by facilitated workshops and individual sessions over a period of two years, in preparation for their final exit from the Group. In some instances not only was professional financial advice required, but certain individuals started their own small business consulting start-ups, some of which were back to the corporate they left, and others in specific specialised fields of advice and management. This required our advice in putting business plans to be put together, very careful financial planning and the use of capital as well as the marketing and support of the new enterprises and their clients and how this was to be achieved.
Result
Sustainable wealth creation and on-going financial security for each individual was a key result. Executives responded well to being fully informed of their options. Strong relationships of trust developed and our team guided them through the space of challenge and change, which at times was a tough struggle for our clients but resulted in growth and related reward after calculated risks.
